With over 20 years of experience in esthetics, I’ve devoted my career to helping people feel beautiful, relaxed, and confident in their skin.
My skincare journey began in Boston, Massachusetts, where I attended the Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics. Early in my career, I worked in a variety of settings, from hair salons and boutique spas to high end spas. This gave me experience working with numerous professional skincare lines, as well as a wide variety of skin types and concerns. Throughout the years, I’ve continued to expand my education by attending postgraduate classes, hands on workshops, and industry conventions, allowing me to continually grow and evolve as an esthetician.
After spending the first half of my career in Boston, I moved to Southern California, where I spent the next chapter of my career focused on eyebrow sculpting at a busy studio. Along the way, I rekindled my passion for performing facials, which brought me back to the relaxing, nurturing side of skincare that I’ve always loved.
Together with my partner, we created Uplifted Studio to be a calm, intentional space where skincare meets self care. We designed the studio to be more than just a place for treatments. It’s a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to help you feel at ease, supported, and uplifted.
OUTSIDE THE STUDIO
You’ll usually find me spending time in nature with my husband, whether we’re camping, exploring new places, or simply enjoying the outdoors. I also love spending time with our two cats, listening to music, practicing yoga, roller skating with friends, spending the day at the beach, and finding a really good cup of coffee. I’m all about the simple moments that help me slow down, recharge, and stay grounded!

Esthetician
Jena is a licensed California esthetician passionate about helping clients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their skin. She specializes in customized skincare, thoughtful consultations, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals.
Known for her warmth, professionalism, and attentive care, Jena believes lasting relationships are built through trust, clear communication, and truly listening. She was drawn to Uplifted Studio’s welcoming environment and emphasis on meaningful connection. Her goal is for every client to leave feeling heard, informed, and supported throughout their skincare journey.
OUTSIDE THE STUDIO
When she’s not geeking out over skin barriers, Jena can usually be found sipping iced matcha or flavored water, because hydration is non-negotiable, and spending time with her daughter and fiancé. She’s a girl mom to a wildly smart, spirited kid who keeps her on her toes, making patience her unofficial second job. Before esthetics, Jena worked as a veterinary technician and makeup artist, giving her the unusually useful ability to blend concealer and hold a nervous cat still. These days, she loves building community in South OC, creating those “ohhh, that makes sense” moments for her clients, and reminding everyone that healthy skin and a healthy life are about progress, not perfection.
